Book the unit before the van
Choose and reserve storage with the provider yourself. Ask whether the unit can accept the complete load and whether you must attend reception before unloading. A unit reservation alone does not necessarily mean you can arrive with furniture immediately. Confirm your move-in arrangements, then give us the branch address and the time you can receive the load.
Prepare for the route inside the building
Find out the unit floor and the route from the loading point. A goods lift, long corridor or reception check can affect how long the transfer takes. Tell us whether loading equipment is available and whether large pieces fit through the lift doors. Keep entry codes private: arrange to meet the crew or use access permissions approved by the provider.
Put later-needed belongings within reach
Decide what should remain near the front of the unit, such as seasonal boxes or furniture you expect to retrieve first. Label the load before collection and sketch the placement you want. Leave any access space required by the provider. The purpose is to store the belongings so you can find them again, rather than simply fill the floor.
Storage rent and transport are separate
Our moving charge covers the agreed vehicle, crew and work. Unit rent, locks, storage insurance and provider fees are arranged and paid separately with the storage company. Include the provider name and full branch address in the UK moving form. We review the transfer with you before confirming the appointment.
