Start with the rooms that will be used daily
Measure the destination rooms and mark where the main furniture will sit. Consider the clear walking space after it is placed. Check wardrobes, dining tables and sofas against the entrances as well as the room dimensions. Choose the load with the household rather than leaving those decisions to the moving crew.
Give every departing piece a destination
Some belongings may go straight to the smaller home, others to family members or storage. Label those groups separately and provide all the relevant addresses. The ordinary form captures two main addresses; put additional stops in the notes so we can discuss the complete job. More destinations change the time and journey involved.
Choose someone to coordinate the day
Agree who can answer placement questions and who will meet the load. If a relative is helping, make their role clear to the person moving and the team. Keep private circumstances out of the request; practical contact and access instructions are sufficient. Leave everyday essentials easy to reach at the new home.
Separate transport from disposing of belongings
Our moving plan should list the items being carried to an agreed destination. This page does not offer waste removal or promise a house-clearance service. Arrange donations or disposal directly with a suitable organisation and avoid mixing those items into the transport load.
