Tell us exactly what needs collecting
List every piece, its dimensions and any separate sections or loose parts. A photograph can help you explain the item by email, but include the measurements too. Ask whether sofa feet come off, a table separates or a bed frame is already dismantled. Tell us if you need help taking it apart or putting it together.
Check the collection with the seller
Confirm the full address, floor and a suitable collection window before sending your request. Make sure someone will be there to hand over the furniture. Include useful entrance and loading instructions, and let us know if the seller has a firm deadline. We’ll agree the moving slot with you after reviewing the details.
Make sure it can reach its new room
Measure your doorway, stair turns and the route to the destination room. A sofa that fits the room may still be difficult to get through the entrance. Give us the floor, any lift details and outside steps at delivery, as well as where the van can load. Keep the carrying route clear before the furniture arrives.
Arrange one item or several pieces
You can request a single furniture collection or list several pieces travelling together. Transit and Luton van options and one or two movers are available to discuss. The published rates have a two hour minimum, with relevant mileage, stairs and zone charges. Send the item list and addresses and we’ll agree the collection arrangements and price before confirming.
